• To control algae:
1. Cover 30% of pond surface area.
2.Use submerged plants one bunch per 3sq ft.
3. Do not run fountains or aerators at night.
• Apply salt-2 lbs per 100 gals., or barley
bag-1lb per
100 sq ft.
• Remember-bio filters produce NO3 of fertilizer which will promote algae growth.
